Notes on the take-back obligation for packaging material

In accordance with Section 15 (1) Sentence 1 of the current German Packaging Act (VerpackG), we are obliged to take back the following packaging materials from end consumers free of charge:

- Transport packaging, such as pallets, large packaging, etc.,
- Sales and outer packaging that typically does not accrue as waste from private end consumers after use,
- Sales and outer packaging for which system participation is not possible due to system incompatibility according to Section 7 (5), and
- Sales packaging of hazardous filling materials or
- Reusable packaging.

When the product is delivered, appropriate packaging material is used, which we take back free of charge. In doing so, we ensure that the packaging material is returned to the recycling loop. By providing information about return options, better results in the return of packaging are to be achieved, and a contribution to the fulfillment of European recycling targets according to EU Directive 94/62/EC is to be ensured.

As an end consumer, you can hand in the packaging material at the place of actual delivery or in its immediate vicinity.
